Dr. Mandigo is the latest addition to our skilled team at Bionica Dental Wellness of Delafield, and she brings well over 15 years of experience to the practice. Her favorite part of what she does is getting to know her patients. She grew up in a small town where everyone knew each other, and dentistry allows her to keep those smaller, close-knit connections by taking the time to get to know everyone who visits her and sharing their highs and lows of life. You can learn more about Dr. Mandigo’s experience and passion by reading below.
Dr. Mandigo’s father was a dentist, so at a young age, she would help him out at the office by cleaning and helping the front desk. Ironically, though, she never wanted to be a dentist because she didn’t think it was for her. One day, when she was a junior in college, she realized that dentistry was incredibly unique in the way it combines her love of education, science, artistry, and connection. It was then that she realized dentistry was for her!
Dr. Mandigo completed her undergraduate studies at University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh and was awarded the Chancellor’s award for Excellence and graduated with honors. She then attended the Marquette School of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery. After graduating, she worked in both the public and private sectors of dentistry and even had the honor of working with her dad before his retirement. Dr. Mandigo also taught at the dental school she graduated from, where she was a mentor for students and helped them fulfill their graduation requirements.
In addition to her extensive academic experience, Dr. Mandigo stays up to date with the latest clinical advancements in dentistry by regularly taking post-graduate continuing education courses to offer a number of specialty services, including oral conscious sedation, Invisalign, diode laser dentistry, and Botox and fillers. She is currently an active member of a number of professional organizations as well, including the American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association, and Waukesha County Dental Society.
Dr. Mandigo adores her family, which consists of her husband, four children, and their dog Ruby. Together, they’ve created a lovely home in Oconomowoc, where they love to hike, travel, and play board games. They’re also active members at Oakwood Church in Delafield. Whenever Dr. Mandigo isn’t at the office, you can find her reading, sewing, and baking bread. A few interesting facts about Dr. Mandigo is that she had an interview to work for the CIA before going to dental school, can make very fancy iced sugar cookies, taught herself how to sew, and read over 120 books in 2024!
